What an ATS check actually looks at
An applicant tracking system converts your file to text, maps it onto fields, then ranks it against the ad. Two things sink an application: text the parser cannot read, and the right experience described in the wrong words. The checker looks at both.

The ad is asking for something your CV does not evidence yet, or your wording is a long way from theirs. Worth rewriting before you send.
55 to 75
A real but unproven fit. Usually fixable by re-ordering your experience and mirroring the ad's terminology where you genuinely qualify.
Above 75
Strong on evidence. Focus on the remaining gaps and address them directly in your cover letter.
